Pre-Amplifier

A Pre-Amplifier is used to amplify low level signal to line level, i.e. the “standard” operating level of your power amplifier. So you need a preamp for just about any sound source. Beside amplifying low level signals a pre-amplifier is also used to handle switching between line level sources and volume settings.
